Vertical Meeting
We will be meeting briefly for vertical meeting on Wednesday to share any updates from our content specialists as well as gather feedback on needs, resources and how the curriculum is going so far within the areas it has been developed.  Specials and specialists, please choose which areas you would like to attend as far as core content for this meeting.  We will also make sure everyone is able to upload their plans to Schoology as we will start using these throughout the year for walkthroughs, evaluations as well as planning purposes across the campus.

Goal Setting
Go ahead and try to start entering in your goals for this year into Eduphoria - Strive.  Remember that you can create a profile, watch video connections to help for support in the (?) area of the program.  If you have any troubles or if something is not working please let us know.  The district has told us that everything should be good to go!  Also, remember that you will have an individual goal and a team goal.  If you have questions or would like to brainstorm with Annelise or myself we can help!  Please have these entered by Friday, September 15th at 3:00pm.

Join PTO
If you haven't joined our PTO this year, please do so in order to receive updates from our TCE parent teacher organization.  They have created a website that updates members each year, so you will need to update everything!  This is a great way to show we support our PTO as well as have continued communication.  Find the log-in area in order to set up your account.

Join CGA
Another wonderful organization that you can join as a Coppell educator is the Coppell Gifted Association.  You have the opportunity to sign up for free before September 26th.  This is another great way to keep up with communications from the district and parents for gifted and talented as well as enrichment opportunities for all learners!

PTO Grants
We are going to start gathering grants for our PTO to review.  Please review the following samples as this is the format they will need to be in:  Requestor, What the grant is and why it would be beneficial, Links if available to show what it is or conference and any more info you feel would help in getting approval.  Please let me know as you are working on these, I  have to sign off as well as present all of these to the PTO grant committee.  If you want to brainstorm and think about some ideas together, just give me and Annelise a holler and we will be happy to meet and talk ideas!

Ed Foundation Grants
The Coppell Education Foundation Grants will open up this week on September 13th!  Here is the link for more info!
