Goals for Year and Sign-up -
Due this Friday, September 9th!
Brett and I have emailed out a sign-up genius through email for each of you to sign up on for your goal setting for this year.  Please make sure that you have gone in and signed up and have filled out your goals.  Please know that your goals  can be tweaked if you feel like you need to after your meeting with us (we can edit now in this system), so don't worry if you aren't fully sure when you are filling out your individual and team/PLC goal as we will have time to brainstorm together.   However, you do need to have something for us to start with for planning!

Faculty, Vertical and TLC Meetings
Just a quick reminder for all of our Wednesday meetings for this year.  Please plan on our meetings going until 4:45.  They will not always be this long, however I want you to be prepared in case they do for after school needs that you may have throughout the year.  Remember that these meetings will be focused on professional learning and aligning as a campus, so Wednesday is not a day to schedule doctor's appointments or other types of activities that would make you miss the learning happening.

Texan Town Jobs Brainstorming
Don't forget to do a quick 8-10 minute brainstorming session with your kiddos for what they would like to see as jobs/clubs during Texan Town.  K, 1st and 2nd – you can do this as well for options for things they might like to do during our Texan Town times.  3rd-5th – this brainstorm could include clubs/jobs they really like and things they didn’t like as much to new ideas they have!

If you would brainstorm as a class on chart paper and then bring it to our faculty meeting this Wednesday.  We will finalize jobs and clubs at our meeting!

CHAT Info from Marly and Kristan
Please review the CHAT donations for this year and make sure and get this turned in as soon as you can! Thank you to Marly and Kristan for working on getting CHAT ready to go this year for socials, celebrations and needs throughout the year!

From the Desk of BS
I know many of you enjoyed the convocation and all of the wonderful ideas and innovative inspirations that George Couros gave us. After visiting numerous classroom this week and last, I have been reminded of not only the fabulous educators we have in our classrooms, but also the caring individuals we have in our #tcefam as well. Please see the link below to hear George’s thoughts on the most important part of the learning environment.

Thanks for a great second week!  Enjoy your 3-day weekend!
