Hope you all were able to enjoy this three day weekend!  Crazy that the rain keeps on coming down!!  Looking forward to this four day week and I will have more info on what we will do for field day as the week goes on!

Happy Mother's Day!




It's gonna be another busy week as we keep getting closer and closer to finishing up the school year!  I would like to thank everyone for your patience lately as I have been pulled in many directions with my SFA school, district meetings, job fair and family needs.  

My celebration for the week is that I officially finished my last class for this spring semester today!  Now I have one more year left to go in my program!  (if I can get everything done). . .needless to say as I turn 40 this week I am looking forward to even just a brief moment of rest and relaxation after this semester!  (and maybe a little fun too!)

This is our last potluck for the year!  Bring any of your favorite summertime dishes so we can celebrate!  I will post a sign-up on the board by the elevator! 

Furniture Counts
Please make sure you are taking inventory of the number of desks and chairs you will want to be getting rid of at the end of they year!  Remember we are not getting rid of the trapezoid computer tables and be careful giving away too many other tables that we might could use for future events or in rooms.  Brett and I will be touching base with all of you about this more later this week!

TCE Tours. . .

It's hard to believe we are getting so close to wrapping up this school year!  Looking forward to having our 5th graders and teachers back this week and thank you to all of you who will be helping out with welcoming our new group of Kinder friends to Kinder Roundup on Thursday!

Final Tours for the Year
We have one more STEM campus wanting to visit us this year as well as one more parent/community tour scheduled.  These tours will happen this week on Tuesday and Thursday. The parent community tour will be on Tuesday the 5th and the other group will come on Thursday the 7th.  The STEM campus is from Little Elm ISD.

If we could please have activities for our groups to see highlighting engineering, design and also technology integration. Also, please make sure that our hallways continue to highlight our learning.  

  Thank you to those team leaders who have already let me know what you will be doing.  If you haven't, please do so tomorrow!  

The parent community tour will visit K-2 in the morning and then 3-5 in the afternoon.  The other STEM group will be coming around 8:30am and stay until around noon.

Moving on Into May!!

Well we did it people!  We made it through all of the toughness that is STAAR!! I could not be more proud of our kiddos and all of you for your hard work and dedication!!  It is hard to believe that we are now moving on into May and that we will be wrapping up this 2014-2015 school year before too long!
